PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY

 

 

 

o   First Friday Mass is held at both the Mather  and Valente Nursing Homes. Seventeen total volunteers along with the two priests who alternate between the two facilities. A social follows.

 

o   Nursing Home Volunteers-         Six people visit both the Mather and Valente Nursing Homes weekly bringing communion. Parishioners number: Mather - 28; Valente - 45

 

o   Weekly visits to the Homebound: Two ministers visited: St. John- 4; St. Joseph- 8 

 

o   Annual Mass and Anointing of the Sick: Held at St. Joseph’s Church on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011. A soup luncheon follows.  55 Volunteers and 95 participants.
